About this website

This website is published by Shviro Lab and describes the services the lab offers. Using the site means accepting the terms on this page.

Content and accuracy

The technical content here is published for information. It describes methods and areas of research; it is not security advice for any specific vehicle, ECU or programme, and it should not be relied on as such. Any assessment of a real system depends on that system.

Case studies and examples

Case studies on this site are representative, anonymised formats. They are illustrations of scope and method. They do not identify clients and do not describe specific findings, vulnerabilities or results.

Standards and frameworks

References to ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155 and UNECE R156 describe the frameworks our work is carried out with reference to. They are not a claim of certification, accreditation or homologation approval, and Shviro Lab does not issue approvals against them.

Engagements

Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Work is carried out under a separate written agreement covering scope, authorisation, confidentiality and liability. Security testing is only ever performed on systems we have written authorisation to test.

Intellectual property

The content, design, illustrations and branding on this site belong to Shviro Lab. You may quote and link to articles with attribution.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Shviro Lab is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the information published here.
